अश्रुत्वा हितकामस्य विदुरस्य महात्मन: । वाक्यानि सुमहार्थानि परितप्यामि दुर्मति:
Transliteration
aśrutvā hitakāmasya vidurasya mahātmanaḥ | vākyāni sumahārthāni paritapyāmi durmatiḥ ||
Translation
મારા હિતની જ ઇચ્છા રાખનાર મહાત્મા વિદુરના અત્યંત અર્થસભર વચનોને અવગણીને આજે હું, દુર્બુદ્ધિ ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર, પશ્ચાત્તાપથી દગ્ધ થઈ રહ્યો છું।
