अध्याय ९ — धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति राजनित्युपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Counsel on Royal Policy to Yudhiṣṭhira
लभतां वीरलोक॑ स ससहायो नराधिप:
labhatāṁ vīralokaṁ sa sa-sahāyo narādhipaḥ
વૈશંપાયન બોલ્યા—“હે નરાધિપ, તે રાજા પોતાના સહાયકો સહિત વીરલોક પ્રાપ્ત કરે।” આ પંક્તિ એક ગಂಭીર આશીર્વચન છે; તે દર્શાવે છે કે કષ્ટોમાં નિભાવેલી સ્થિરતા, નિષ્ઠા અને રાજધર્મ માત્ર લૌકિક ફળ નહીં, પરંતુ માનનીય પરલોકગતિ પણ આપે છે।
