संध्यर्थ राजपुत्रं वा लिप्सेथा भरतर्षभ । विपरीतं न तच्छेय: पुत्र कस्यांचिदापदि

Transliteration

saṁdhyārthaṁ rājaputraṁ vā lipsethā bharatarṣabha | viparītaṁ na tac cheyaḥ putra kasyāṁcid āpadi ||

Translation

હે ભરતશ્રેષ્ઠ, માત્ર સંધિ કે વિરામ માટે કોઈ રાજકુમારને મેળવવાની ઇચ્છા ન કર. કોઈ સંકટમાં એવો ઉપાય તારા હિતના વિરુદ્ધ નીવડે; તેથી, પુત્ર, તે કરવું યોગ્ય નથી.
