वयमत्राग्निना युक्ता गमिष्याम: परां गतिम् । “संजय! तुम किसी ऐसे स्थानमें भाग जाओ, जहाँ यह दावाग्नि तुम्हें कदापि जला न सके। हमलोग तो अब यहीं अपनेको अग्निमें होम कर परम गति प्राप्त करेंगे”
vayam atrāgninā yuktā gamiṣyāmaḥ parāṃ gatim |
નારદ બોલ્યા—“અમે અહીં અગ્નિ સાથે એકરૂપ થઈ પરમ ગતિને પ્રાપ્ત કરીશું. સંજય! તું એવા સ્થાને ભાગી જા જ્યાં આ દાવાગ્નિ તને કદી દગ્ધ ન કરી શકે. અમે તો અહીં જ પોતાને અગ્નિમાં હોમ કરીને પરમ લક્ષ્ય પ્રાપ્ત કરીશું.”
