इति श्रीमहाभारते आश्रमवासिके पर्वणि पुत्रदर्शनपर्वणि जनमेजयं प्रति वैशम्पायनवाक्ये चतुस्त्रिंशो&ध्याय:

iti śrīmahābhārate āśramavāsike parvaṇi putradarśanaparvaṇi janamejayaṃ prati vaiśampāyanavākye catustriṃśo 'dhyāyaḥ

આ રીતે શ્રીમહાભારતના આશ્રમવાસિક પર્વમાં ‘પુત્રદર્શન’ નામના ઉપપર્વમાં, રાજા જનમેજયને પ્રતિ વૈશમ્પાયનના વચનમાં ચોત્રીસમો અધ્યાય પૂર્ણ થાય છે.
