द्वादशोड् ध्याय: अर्जुनका भीमको समझाना और युधिष्ठिरका धृतराष्ट्रको यथेष्ट धन देनेकी स्वीकृति प्रदान करना अजुन उवाच भीम ज्येष्ठो गुरुमें त्वं नातो<न्यद् वक्तुमुत्सहे । धृतराष्ट्रस्तु राजर्षि: सर्वथा मानमहति
arjuna uvāca | bhīma jyeṣṭho gurur me tvaṁ nāto 'nyad vaktum utsahe | dhṛtarāṣṭras tu rājarṣiḥ sarvathā mānam arhati ||
અર્જુન બોલ્યો—ભીમ, તમે મારા જ્યેષ્ઠ ભ્રાતા અને ગુરુ-તુલ્ય છો; તેથી તમારી સામે આ સિવાય બીજું કંઈ કહેવાની મને હિંમત નથી—રાજર્ષિ ધૃતરાષ્ટ્ર સર્વથા માનને યોગ્ય છે.
