The Duty to Fulfill Promised Gifts
स एव हि यदा तुष्टो वचसा प्रतिनन्दति । भवत्यगदसंकाशो विषये तस्य भारत
sa eva hi yadā tuṣṭo vacasā pratinandati | bhavaty agada-saṅkāśo viṣaye tasya bhārata ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હે ભારત! એ જ બ્રાહ્મણ જ્યારે આશા પૂર્ણ થવાથી અને યથોચિત સન્માનથી સંતોષ પામી વાણી દ્વારા રાજાનું અભિનંદન કરે—આશીર્વાદ આપે—ત્યારે તે તેના રાજ્ય માટે વૈદ્ય સમાન બની જાય છે।
