भीष्म उवाच एतच्छूत्वा सहस्राक्ष: पूजयामास नित्यदा । गाश्षक्रे बहुमानं च तासु नित्यं युधिष्ठिर
bhīṣma uvāca: etac chrutvā sahasrākṣaḥ pūjayāmāsa nityadā | gāś cakre bahumānaṃ ca tāsu nityaṃ yudhiṣṭhira ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હે યુધિષ્ઠિર! બ્રહ્માજીનું આ વચન સાંભળીને સહસ્રનેત્રધારી ઇન્દ્ર રોજ ગાયોની પૂજા કરવા લાગ્યા અને તેઓ સદા તેમના પ્રત્યે મહાન આદર દર્શાવતા રહ્યા.
