एवं गोशकृतः: पुत्र माहात्म्यं तेडनुवर्णितम् । माहात्म्यं च गवां भूय: श्रूयतां गदतो मम,बेटा! इस तरह मैंने तुमसे गोबरका माहात्म्य बतलाया है। अब पुनः गौओंका माहात्म्य बतला रहा हूँ, सुनो
evaṁ gośakṛtaḥ putra māhātmyaṁ te ’nuvārṇitam | māhātmyaṁ ca gavāṁ bhūyaḥ śrūyatāṁ gadato mama, vatsa ||
પુત્ર! આ રીતે મેં તને ગોશકૃત્ (ગોમય/ગોબર)નું માહાત્મ્ય વર્ણવ્યું. હવે ફરી ગાયોના વધુ માહાત્મ્યને હું કહું છું—સાંભળ.
