Chapter 85: Suvarṇasya Janma ca Pradāna-Phalam
The Origin of Gold and the Merit of Gifting
गाव ऊचु: नावमन्यामहे देवि न त्वां परिभवामहे । अध्रुवा चलचित्तासि ततत्त्वां वर्जयामहे
gāva ūcuḥ—nāvamanyāmahe devi na tvāṃ paribhavāmahe | adhruvā calacittāsi tat tvāṃ varjayāmahe ||
ગાયોએ કહ્યું— દેવી! અમે તમારો અપમાન કરતા નથી, ન તો તમારો તિરસ્કાર કરીએ છીએ. પરંતુ અમે તમને ત્યજી રહ્યા છીએ; કારણ કે તમે અધ્રુવા છો— તમારું ચિત્ત ચંચળ છે, તમે ક્યાંય સ્થિર રહેતા નથી।
