इत्युक्त: स महातेजा: शुक: पित्रा महात्मना । पूजयामास गां नित्यं तस्मात् त्वमपि पूजय
ity uktaḥ sa mahātejāḥ śukaḥ pitrā mahātmanā | pūjayāmāsa gāṃ nityaṃ tasmāt tvam api pūjaya, yudhiṣṭhira ||
વ્યાસે કહ્યું— મહાત્મા પિતાએ એમ કહ્યે પછી મહાતેજસ્વી શુકદેવે રોજ ગાયની પૂજા અને સેવા શરૂ કરી. તેથી તું પણ, યુધિષ્ઠિર, નિત્ય ગાયોનું સન્માન કર અને તેમનું રક્ષણ-સેવા કર.
