Go-mahātmyam: Pavitrāṇāṃ Pavitraṃ
Cows and Ghee as Supreme Purifiers
तासाममृतवर्णानां क्षरन्तीनां समन्ततः । बभूवामृतज: फेन: स्रवन्तीनामिवोर्मिज:
tāsām amṛta-varṇānāṁ kṣarantīnāṁ samantataḥ | babhūvāmṛta-jaḥ phenaḥ sravantīnām ivormijaḥ ||
અમૃત (સુવર્ણ) સમા વર્ણવાળી તે ગાયોનું દૂધ ચારે તરફ ધારા રૂપે વહેવા લાગ્યું. એ વહેતા દૂધમાંથી એવો ફેન ઊઠવા લાગ્યો, જેમ નદીઓની લહેરોમાંથી ફેન ઉત્પન્ન થાય છે.
