Go-dāna-stuti and Ghṛta-Japa
Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
गोप्रदानीति वक्तव्यमर्घ्यवस्त्रवसुप्रद: । ऊर्ध्वास्या भवितव्या च वैष्णवीति च चोदयेत्
bhīṣma uvāca | gopradānīti vaktavyam arghyavastravasupradaḥ | ūrdhvāsyā bhavitavyā ca vaiṣṇavīti ca codayet ||
તેણે વિધિપૂર્વક ‘ગોપ્રદાની’ તથા ‘અર્ઘ્ય, વસ્ત્ર અને ધન આપનાર’ તરીકે જાહેર કરવો જોઈએ. તેમજ શુભ-વિશ્વાસથી મુખ ઊંચું રાખવા પ્રેરિત કરવો અને ‘વૈષ્ણવી’—વિષ્ણુભક્ત—કહીને સંબોધી ઉત્સાહિત કરવો.
