Nakṣatra-yoga-anusāreṇa Dāna-vidhiḥ
Gifts prescribed according to lunar mansions and yogas
याच्यमाहुरनीशस्य अभिहारं च भारत | उद्वेजयन्ति याचन्ति सदा भूतानि दस्युवत्
yācyam āhur anīśasya abhihāraṃ ca bhārata | udvejayanti yācanti sadā bhūtāni dasyuvat, bhārata! |
ભીષ્મ બોલ્યા—હે ભારત! જે સ્વતંત્રતા વિનાનો અને નિર્બળ છે, તેના ભાગ્યમાં યાચના કહેવાય છે; અને તે એક પ્રકારનું અપમાન પણ માનવામાં આવે છે. કારણ કે સતત માગનાર પ્રાણીઓ લૂંટારૂઓની જેમ લોકોમાં હંમેશાં ઉદ્વેગ પેદા કરે છે—વારંવાર માગતા રહે છે.
