Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
यस्य वै शैशिरे काले तडागे सलिलं भवेत् । तस्याग्निष्टोमयज्ञस्यथ फलमाहुर्मनीषिण:
yasya vai śaiśire kāle taḍāge salilaṁ bhavet | tasyāgniṣṭomayajñasya tathā phalam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—જેનાં તળાવમાં શિશિરકાળ (માઘ-ફાલ્ગુન) સુધી જળ ટક્યું રહે, તેના વિષે મનીષીઓ કહે છે કે તેને અગ્નિષ્ટોમ યજ્ઞ સમાન ફળ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે.
