Daiva–Puruṣakāra Inquiry: Fate and Human Effort
अभ्युत्थानेन दैवस्य समारब्धेन कर्मणा । विधिना कर्मणा चैव स्वर्गमार्गमवाप्लुयात्,मनुष्य दैवके उत्थानसे आरम्भ किये हुए पुरुषार्थसे उत्तम विधि और शास्त्रोक्त सत्कर्मसे ही स्वर्गलोकका मार्ग पा सकता है
abhyutthānena daivasya samārabdhena karmaṇā | vidhinā karmaṇā caiva svargamārgam avāpnuyāt ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—ઉઠી ઊભા થવાના દૃઢ સંકલ્પથી, દૈવને અનુકૂળ રીતે કર્મ આરંભ કરીને, તથા વિધિ અને શાસ્ત્રોક્ત સદ્કર્મ દ્વારા જ મનુષ્ય સ્વર્ગમાર્ગ પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે.
