दैव–पुरुषकार-प्रश्नः
Daiva–Puruṣakāra Inquiry: Fate and Human Effort
कृती सर्वत्र लभते प्रतिष्ठां भाग्यसंयुताम् । अकृती लभते भ्रष्ट: क्षते क्षारावसेचनम्
kṛtī sarvatra labhate pratiṣṭhāṃ bhāgyasaṃyutām | akṛtī labhate bhraṣṭaḥ kṣate kṣārāvasecanam ||
સમર્થ અને પરિશ્રમી પુરુષ સર્વત્ર ભાગ્યના સહારે પ્રતિષ્ઠા મેળવે છે; પરંતુ અકર્મણ્ય માણસ માનથી પતિત થઈ ઘા પર મીઠું છાંટ્યા સમાન અસહ્ય દુઃખ ભોગવે છે.
