Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
भीष्म उवाच महर्षेरवचनं श्रुत्वा नहुषो दुःखकर्शित: । स चिन्तयामास तदा सहामात्यपुरोहित:
bhīṣma uvāca mahārṣer vacanaṃ śrutvā nahuṣo duḥkhakarśitaḥ | sa cintayāmāsa tadā sahāmātya-purohitaḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—મહર્ષિના વચન સાંભળીને દુઃખથી કશાયેલો રાજા નહુષ અત્યંત વ્યાકુળ થયો. ત્યારબાદ તેણે પોતાના મંત્રીઓ અને પુરોહિત સાથે મળીને હવે શું કરવું તે વિષે વિચાર-વિમર્શ શરૂ કર્યો.
