ब्राह्मणानां सतामेष ब्राह्मो धर्मो युधिष्ठिर । आवाह्गामावहेदेवं यो दद्यादनुकूलत:
brāhmaṇānāṃ satām eṣa brāhmo dharmo yudhiṣṭhira | āvāhāgāmāvah edeṃvaṃ yo dadyād anukūlataḥ ||
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું— હે યુધિષ્ઠિર! સદ્બ્રાહ્મણોનો આ બ્રાહ્મ ધર્મ છે: જેને આદરપૂર્વક આમંત્રણ આપી સન્માનથી સ્વીકારવામાં આવે, તેને અનુકૂળ અને હિતકારી રીતે દાન આપવું જોઈએ.
