Strī-satkāra (On honoring women) — Mahābhārata 13.46
देवशर्मोवाच यद् वै तन्मिथुन ब्रह्मन्नहोरात्र हि विद्धि तत् । चक्रवत् परिवर्तेत तत् ते जानाति दुष्कृतम्
devaśarmovāca—yad vai tan mithunaṁ brahman ahorātre hi viddhi tat | cakravat parivarteta tat te jānāti duṣkṛtam ||
દેવશર્માએ કહ્યું—હે બ્રાહ્મણ! તું જોયેલું તે સ્ત્રી-પુરુષનું જોડું દિવસ અને રાત્રિ છે એમ જાણ. તેઓ ચક્રની જેમ ફરતા રહે છે; તેથી તારા દુષ્કૃત્યને તેઓ જાણે છે.
