सूचका: सेतुभेत्तार: परवृत््युपजीवका: । अकृच्ञाश्च मित्राणां ते वै निरयगामिन:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | sūcakāḥ setubhettāraḥ paravṛttyupajīvakāḥ | akṛjñāś ca mitrāṇāṃ te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—ચુગલખોરો, ધર્મ-કુલ-સમાજની રક્ષાત્મક મર્યાદા તોડનારાઓ, બીજાની રોજી પર જીવતા લોકો અને મિત્રોના ઉપકાર ભૂલી જનાર કૃતઘ્નો—એ બધા નિશ્ચયે નરકગામી છે.
