Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
इति मत्वा हृदि मतं प्राह मां सुरसत्तम: । मयि सम्भावना यास्या: फलात्कृष्णो भविष्यति
iti matvā hṛdi mataṁ prāha māṁ surasattamaḥ | mayi sambhāvanā yāsyāḥ phalāt kṛṣṇo bhaviṣyati ||
મારા હૃદયમાં સ્થિર થયેલો આ અભિપ્રાય જાણી દેવશ્રેષ્ઠ (શિવ)એ મને કહ્યું—“મુને! મારા પ્રત્યે તારી જે શ્રદ્ધા-આકાંક્ષા છે, તેના ફળરૂપે તને ‘કૃષ્ણ’ નામનો પુત્ર થશે.”
