Aṣṭāvakra’s Visit to Kubera: Hospitality, Temptation, and the Ethics of Restraint (अष्टावक्र-वैश्रवणोपाख्यानम्)
ततः प्रणम्य शिरसा इदं वचनमन्रुवम् । यदि प्रीतो महादेवो भक्त्या परमया प्रभु:
tataḥ praṇamya śirasā idaṁ vacanam abruvam | yadi prīto mahādevo bhaktyā paramayā prabhuḥ ||
ત્યારે મેં મસ્તક નમાવી પ્રણામ કરીને કહ્યું—“જો મારી પરમ ભક્તિથી પ્રભુ મહાદેવ પ્રસન્ન હોય, તો હે ઈશાન! આપ પ્રત્યે મારી ભક્તિ નિત્ય-નિરંતર અચળ રહે.” એમ કહી ભગવાન શિવે “એવમસ્તુ” કહ્યું અને ત્યાં જ અંતર્ધાન થયા.
