यजनं बहुशश्चाग्नौ जगु: सामानि सामगा: । ततश्चन्दनकाष्ठैश्ष तथा कालीयकैरपि
yajanaṃ bahuśaścāgnau jaguḥ sāmāni sāmagāḥ | tataścandanakāṣṭhaiś ca tathā kālīyakair api ||
સામગાન કરનાર બ્રાહ્મણોએ અગ્નિમાં વારંવાર આહુતિઓ આપી અને સામમંત્રોનું ગાન કર્યું. ત્યારબાદ ચંદનકાષ્ઠ તથા કાલીયક વગેરે સુગંધિત દ્રવ્યો પણ અર્પણ કરાયા।
