आटद्य: प्रकीर्तितो राजन् सर्वपापप्रमोचन: । राजन! यह आदियमें होनेवाले देवता और ऋषियोंका मुख्य समुदाय अपने नामका कीर्तन करनेपर मनुष्यको सब पापोंसे मुक्त करता है
āṭadyaḥ prakīrtito rājan sarvapāpapramocanaḥ |
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—હે રાજન, આટદ્ય સર્વ પાપોનો નાશ કરનાર તરીકે પ્રખ્યાત છે. આદિયુગમાં ઉત્પન્ન દેવતાઓ અને ઋષિઓના મુખ્ય સમૂહ પણ કહે છે કે તેના નામનું કીર્તન કરવાથી મનુષ્ય સર્વ પાપોથી મુક્ત થાય છે।
