स्नेहनो<स्नेहनश्वैव अजितश्न महामुनि: । वृक्षाकारो वृक्षकेतुरनलो वायुवाहन:
snehano ’snehanaś caiva ajitaśna mahāmuniḥ | vṛkṣākāro vṛkṣaketuranalo vāyuvāhanaḥ ||
વાયુદેવે કહ્યું— તે સ્નેહાળ પણ છે અને આસક્તિ-રહિત પણ; અજેય આત્મસંયમવાળો મહામુનિ છે. તે વૃક્ષાકાર—સંસારવૃક્ષસ્વરૂપ; વૃક્ષ સમ ઊંચો ધ્વજ ધારણ કરનાર; તે અનલ—અગ્નિસ્વરૂપ; અને વાયુને પોતાનું વાહન બનાવનાર છે.
