विप्रकारान् प्रयुद्धक्ते सम सुबहून् मम वेश्मनि । तानुदारतया चाहं चक्षमे चातिदुःसहान्
viprakārān prayuddhakte samabahūn mama veśmani | tān udāratayā cāhaṃ cakṣame cātiduḥsahān ||
વાયુએ કહ્યું— મારા જ નિવાસમાં અનેક બ્રાહ્મણોએ મારા વિરુદ્ધ અપરાધ કર્યા અને વૈરભાવથી પણ વર્ત્યા. તેમના કર્મો અત્યંત દુઃસહ હતા; છતાં મેં ઉદારતાથી સહન કરીને તેમને ક્ષમા કર્યા.
