ब्राह्मणप्रमुखं सौम्यं न मे5त्रास्ति विचारणा
brāhmaṇa-pramukhaṃ saumyaṃ na me ’trāsti vicāraṇā | brāhmaṇeṣu śānta-bhāvasya prādhānyam | etad-viṣaye mama na vicāraṇā | brāhmaṇa-pūjanād āyuḥ kīrtiḥ yaśaḥ balaṃ ca prāpyate | sarve lokāḥ lokeśvarāś ca brāhmaṇa-pūjakāḥ santi ||
વાયુએ કહ્યું— “હે સૌમ્ય! બ્રાહ્મણ સર્વપ્રથમ છે—આ વિષયમાં મને કોઈ સંશય નથી. બ્રાહ્મણોમાં શાંત સ્વભાવની પ્રધાનતા છે; તેથી આ બાબતમાં વધુ વિચાર કરવાની જરૂર નથી. બ્રાહ્મણપૂજાથી આયુષ્ય, કીર્તિ, યશ અને બળ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે. સર્વ લોક અને લોકેશ્વરો સુધી બ્રાહ્મણોના ઉપાસક છે.”
