Shloka 17
इन्द्र रवाच अस्माभिरननिन्दितावेतौ भवेतां सोमपौ कथम् | देवैर्न सम्मितावेतौ तस्मान्मैवं वदस्व न:
indra uvāca—asmābhir ananinditāv etau bhavetāṃ somapau katham | devair na sammitāv etau tasmān maivaṃ vadasva naḥ ||
ઇન્દ્ર બોલ્યા—“હે નિર્દોષ વિપ્ર! આ બંનેને અમે નિંદિત ગણ્યા છે; તો પછી તેઓ સોમપાનના અધિકારી કેવી રીતે થઈ શકે? તેઓ દેવતાઓ સમાન પ્રતિષ્ઠિત નથી; તેથી તેમના માટે અમને આ રીતે ન કહો.”
