अभ्यद्रवन्त देवांस्ते सहस्नाणि दशैव हि । ततस्तैरदिता देवा: शरणं वासवं ययु:

Transliteration

abhyadravant devāṁs te sahasrāṇi daśaiva hi | tatas tair aditā devāḥ śaraṇaṁ vāsavaṁ yayuḥ ||

Translation

તેઓ—દસ હજારની સંખ્યામાં—દેવતાઓ પર ધસી આવ્યા; તેમનાથી પીડિત થઈ દેવતાઓ ભાગી ને વાસવ (ઇન્દ્ર)ની શરણમાં ગયા.
