महेन्द्रगुरव: सप्त प्राचीं वै दिशमाश्रिता: । प्रयत: कीर्तयेदेतान् शक्रलोके महीयते
mahendraguravaḥ sapta prācīṃ vai diśam āśritāḥ | prayataḥ kīrtayed etān śakraloke mahīyate ||
મહેન્દ્રના ગુરુ તરીકે પ્રસિદ્ધ એવા સાત મહર્ષિઓ પૂર્વ દિશામાં નિવાસ કરે છે. જે પુરુષ સંયમી અને શુદ્ધચિત્ત થઈ શ્રદ્ધાપૂર્વક તેમના નામોનું કીર્તન કરે છે, તે શક્રના (ઇન્દ્રના) લોકમાં માન-પ્રતિષ્ઠા પામે છે.
