कीर्तयन् प्रयत: सर्वान् सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते । इसी प्रकार नन्दीश्वर
kīrtayan prayataḥ sarvān sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate |
ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—“જે મનુષ્ય સંયમપૂર્વક અને શુદ્ધ ભાવથી આ સર્વનાં નામોનું કીર્તન કરે છે, તે સર્વ પાપોથી મુક્ત થાય છે. આ રીતે નંદીશ્વર, મહાકાય, ગ્રામણી, વૃષભધ્વજ; સર્વ લોકોના સ્વામી ગણેશ—વિનાયક—અને સૌમ્યગણ, રુદ્રગણ, યોગગણ, ભૂતગણ; નક્ષત્રો, નદીઓ, આકાશ; પક્ષિરાજ ગરુડ; પૃથ્વી પર તપથી સિદ્ધ થયેલા મહાત્માઓ; સ્થાવર અને જંગમ; હિમાલય તથા સર્વ પર્વતો; ચાર સમુદ્રો; શંકર સમ પરાક્રમવાળા તેમના અનુચરગણ; તેમજ વિષ્ણુદેવ, જિષ્ણુ, સ્કંદ અને અંબિકા—આ બધાંનાં નામો શુદ્ધ હૃદયથી લેતાં સર્વ પાપ નાશ પામે છે।”
