Educational Q&A

True spiritual attainment is linked to inner quality and conduct: abiding in sattva, renouncing attachments, living under vow-bound discipline, maintaining self-restraint and purity, and courageously committing to a demanding righteous path leads to enduring (sanātana) spiritual realms.

Śrī Maheśvara is instructing the listener about the fruit of a rigorous ascetic-vowed life: the person who abandons worldly ties and follows a disciplined, pure, courageous path is said to attain eternal worlds.
