वाणिज्यं सत्पथस्थानमातिथ्यं प्रशमो दम: । विप्राणां स्वागतं त्यागो वैश्यधर्म: सनातन:
vāṇijyaṁ satpathasthānam ātithyaṁ praśamo damaḥ | viprāṇāṁ svāgataṁ tyāgo vaiśyadharmaḥ sanātanaḥ ||
શ્રી મહેશ્વર બોલ્યા—સત્પથ પર ચાલતો વેપાર, અતિથિ-સત્કાર, શમ અને દમ, બ્રાહ્મણોનું સ્વાગત-સન્માન અને ત્યાગ—આ વૈશ્યનો સનાતન ધર્મ છે.
