येषामेतानि तिष्ठन्ति गृहेषु गृहमेधिनाम्‌ । तान्यधृष्याण्यगाराणि पिशिताशै: सुदारुणै:

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | yeṣām etāni tiṣṭhanti gṛheṣu gṛhamedhinām | tāny adhṛṣyāṇy agārāṇi piśitāśaiḥ sudāruṇaiḥ ||

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું— જે ગૃહસ્થોના ઘરોમાં આ નિર્ધારિત વસ્તુઓ નિયમપૂર્વક રાખવામાં અને જાળવવામાં આવે છે, તે ઘરો અજય બની જાય છે; અતિ ભયંકર માંસભક્ષી નિશાચરો પણ તેમ પર આક્રમણ કરી શકતા નથી।
