अग्निकार्येषु वै तेषां हव्यं नाश्नाति पावक: । जो प्रज्वलित यज्ञाग्निमें समिधाकी आहुति नहीं देते
agnikāryeṣu vai teṣāṃ havyaṃ nāśnāti pāvakaḥ |
શક્રે કહ્યું—અગ્નિકાર્યમાં જે લોકો ઉપેક્ષા કરે છે, તેમનું હવ્ય પાવક સ્વીકારતો નથી. જે પ્રજ્વલિત યજ્ઞાગ્નિમાં સમિધાની આહુતિ આપતા નથી, તેમના અગ્નિહોત્રમાં અગ્નિદેવ હવિષ્ય ગ્રહણ કરતા નથી; તેથી અગ્નિને વિધિપૂર્વક પ્રજ્વલિત કરીને જ આહુતિ આપવી જોઈએ.
