Conduct of the Virtuous Wife
अल्पो5पि तादृशो दायो भवत्युत महाफल: । तृषिताय च ते दत्त हृदयेनानसूयता
alpo 'pi tādṛśo dāyo bhavaty uta mahāphalaḥ | tṛṣitāya ca te dattaṃ hṛdayenān asūyatā ||
વ્યાસે કહ્યું—“આ રીતે ધર્મવિધિ મુજબ આપેલું થોડું-સું દાન પણ મહાફળદાયક બને છે. તું ઈર્ષ્યા-રહિત હૃદયથી તરસેલા અતિથિને અન્ન અને જળ આપ્યાં છે; તેથી એ અલ્પ દાન પણ અપાર પુણ્ય આપે છે.”
