श्रीरवाच वसामि नित्यं सुभगे प्रगल्भे दक्षे नरे कर्मणि वर्तमाने | अक्रोधने देवपरे कृतज्ञे जितेन्द्रिये नित्यमुदीर्णसत्त्वे

Transliteration

śrīr uvāca: vasāmi nityaṃ subhage pragalbhe dakṣe nare karmaṇi vartamāne | akrodhane devapare kṛtajñe jitendriye nityam udīrṇasattve ||

Translation

શ્રીલક્ષ્મી બોલ્યાં—હે દેવી! હું નિત્ય તે પુરુષમાં વસું છું જે સૌભાગ્યવાન, નિર્ભય, કાર્યકુશળ અને ધર્મસંગત કર્મમાં સ્થિર હોય; જે ક્રોધરહિત, દેવપરાયણ, કૃતજ્ઞ, ઇન્દ્રિયજિત અને ઉન્નત સત્ત્વગુણથી યુક્ત હોય.
