भीष्म उवाच अत्र ते वर्णयिष्यामि यथावृत्तं यथाश्रुतम्‌ । रुक्मिणी देवकीपुत्रसंनिधौ पर्यपृच्छत

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca | atra te varṇayiṣyāmi yathāvṛttaṃ yathāśrutam | rukmiṇī devakīputrasaṃnidhau paryapṛcchat |

Translation

ભીષ્મે કહ્યું—રાજન! આ વિષયમાં જે વૃત્તાંત મેં જેમ સાંભળ્યો છે, તેમ જ તને વર્ણવીશ. દેવકીપુત્ર શ્રીકૃષ્ણના સાન્નિધ્યમાં રુક્મિણીએ શ્રી (લક્ષ્મી)ને જે પૂછ્યું હતું, તે મારી પાસેથી સાંભળ।
