उपवासविधि-प्रश्नः
Inquiry into the Discipline of Fasting
भ्रातृणामविभक्तानामुत्थानमपि चेत् सह | न पुत्रभागं विषमं पिता दद्यात् कदाचन
bhrātṝṇām avibhaktānām utthānam api cet saha | na putrabhāgaṁ viṣamaṁ pitā dadyāt kadācana ||
જો ભાઈઓના ભાગ હજી વહેંચાયા ન હોય અને સૌએ મળીને પ્રયત્નથી કુટુંબની સંપત્તિ વધારી હોય, તો પિતા જીવિત હોય ત્યારે પણ તેઓ અલગ થવા ઇચ્છે તો પિતાએ પુત્રોને કદી અસમાન ભાગ ન આપવો; સૌને સમાન હિસ્સો આપવો જ યોગ્ય છે.
