अप्यदृष्टं श्रवादेव पुरुषं धर्मचारिणम्‌ | भूतिकर्माणि कुर्वाणं तं जना: कुर्वते प्रियम्‌

Transliteration

apy adṛṣṭaṃ śravād eva puruṣaṃ dharmacāriṇam | bhūtikarmāṇi kurvāṇaṃ taṃ janāḥ kurvate priyam ||

Translation

જે મનુષ્ય ધર્મનું આચરણ કરે છે અને લોકકલ્યાણના કાર્યોમાં લાગેલો રહે છે, તેને લોકોએ જોયો ન પણ હોય, તો પણ માત્ર તેનું નામ સાંભળીને જ લોકો તેને પ્રિય માનવા લાગે છે.
