svādhyāyais tu mahat pāpaṁ haranti gṛhamedhinaḥ

ગૃહસ્થો ભક્તિપૂર્વક સ્વાધ્યાય અને શાસ્ત્રપાઠ દ્વારા મહાપાપ પણ દૂર કરે છે.
