Āloka-dāna (Dīpa-dāna), Sumanas–Dhūpa–Dīpa Phala: Manu–Suvarṇa and Śukra–Bali Exempla
द्विविधो हि स्मृतो गन्ध इष्टोडनिष्ट श्व पुष्पज: । इष्टगन्धानि देवानां पुष्पाणीति विभावय
dvividho hi smṛto gandha iṣṭo 'niṣṭaś ca puṣpajaḥ | iṣṭagandhāni devānāṁ puṣpāṇīti vibhāvaya ||
શુક્રે કહ્યું—પુષ્પજન્ય ગંધ બે પ્રકારનો માનવામાં આવ્યો છે: ઇષ્ટ (પ્રિય) અને અનિષ્ટ (અપ્રિય). આ વાત સારી રીતે જાણો—ઇષ્ટગંધવાળા સુગંધિત પુષ્પ દેવતાઓને પ્રિય હોય છે.
