उपदेशदोषप्रसङ्गः (Upadeśa-doṣa-prasaṅgaḥ) — The Risk of Misapplied Counsel

विज्ञातमेवं भवतु करिष्ये प्रियमात्मन: । गत्वा55श्रमपदाद्‌ दूरमुटजं कृतवांस्तु सः

Transliteration

vijñātam evaṁ bhavatu kariṣye priyam ātmanaḥ | gatvā āśramapadād dūram uṭajaṁ kṛtavāṁs tu saḥ ||

Translation

“એમ જ થાઓ; હું સમજી ગયો. હું મને જે પ્રિય લાગે તે જ કરીશ.” એવો નિશ્ચય કરીને તે આશ્રમસ્થાનથી દૂર ગયો અને પોતાના માટે પર્ણકુટી બનાવી.
