स हि सर्वस्य लोकस्य हितमात्मन एव च | चिकीर्षन् सुमहातेजा रेमे भरतसत्तम,भरतश्रेष्ठ! महातेजस्वी राजा युधिष्ठिर सब लोगोंका और अपना भी हित करनेकी चेष्टामें लगे रहकर सदा प्रसन्नतापूर्वक समय बिताते थे
sa hi sarvasya lokasya hitam ātmana eva ca | cikīrṣan sumahātejā reme bharatasattama ||
હે ભરતશ્રેષ્ઠ! મહાતેજસ્વી રાજા યુધિષ્ઠિર સર્વ લોકનું અને પોતાનું પણ હિત કરવા સદા પ્રયત્નશીલ રહી પ્રસન્નતાથી સમય વિતાવતા. તેમનો આનંદ ધર્મયુક્ત કલ્યાણકાર્યમાં હતો, માત્ર ભોગમાં નહીં.
