Arjuna’s Hitting of the Target at the Svayaṃvara
ऑपनआक्रात बछ। अ-काज जा अष्टस प्तरत्याधेकशततमो< ध्याय: पितरोंद्वारा और्वके क्रोधका निवारण ब्राह्मण्युवाच नाहं गृह्नामि वस्ताता दृष्टी्नास्मि रुषान्विता । अयं तु भार्गवो नूनमूरुज: कुपितो5चद्य व:
brāhmaṇy uvāca—nāhaṁ gṛhṇāmi vastāta dṛṣṭiṁ nāsmi ruṣānvitā | ayaṁ tu bhārgavo nūnam ūrūjaḥ kupito ’dya vaḥ ||
બ્રાહ્મણીએ કહ્યું—વત્સ, મેં તારી દૃષ્ટિ લીધી નથી; તારા પ્રત્યે મને ક્રોધ પણ નથી. પરંતુ મારી જાંઘમાંથી જન્મેલો આ ભાર్గવ બાલક આજે નિશ્ચયે તમારાં ઉપર કુપિત થયો છે.
