It authorizes Linga-pūjā to be performed with whatever offerings are available (yathālābha) while maintaining mantra-supported reverence—showing that bhakti and right method matter more than luxury.
Shiva is implied as the worship-worthy Pati (Lord) who is approached through mantra and auspicious upacāras; the soul (paśu) turns toward the Lord through disciplined observance (suvrata) and consecrated worship.
A practical pūjā-vidhi is highlighted: mantra-japa (with Gāyatrī) integrated with upacāras like gandha, dhūpa, and dīpa—supporting inner purification that aligns with Pāśupata-oriented devotion.
