Adhyaya 8: Yogasthanas, Ashtanga Yoga, Pranayama-Siddhi, and Shiva-Dhyana leading to Samadhi

ज्ञानेन निर्दहेत्पापं निरुध्य विषयान् सदा निरुद्धेन्द्रियवृत्तेस्तु योगसिद्धिर्भविष्यति

jñānena nirdahetpāpaṃ nirudhya viṣayān sadā niruddhendriyavṛttestu yogasiddhirbhaviṣyati

જ્ઞાનથી પાપને દહન કરવું જોઈએ અને વિષયોને સદા નિયંત્રિત રાખવા જોઈએ. ઇન્દ્રિયવૃત્તિ સંપૂર્ણ રીતે રોકાય ત્યારે યોગસિદ્ધિ નિશ્ચયે થાય છે.
