वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

वैणवी पणवी कालः कालकण्ठः कटंकटः नक्षत्रविग्रहो भावो निभावः सर्वतोमुखः

vaiṇavī paṇavī kālaḥ kālakaṇṭhaḥ kaṭaṃkaṭaḥ nakṣatravigraho bhāvo nibhāvaḥ sarvatomukhaḥ

તે વૈણવી અને પણવી છે—પવિત્ર નાદ-લયની અંતઃશક્તિ. તે જ કાળ છે અને કાળકંઠ; અદમ્ય, ભયપ્રદ પ્રભુ. તેનું સ્વરૂપ નક્ષત્રમંડળનું વિગ્રહ છે; તે ભાવ અને નિભાવ છે, અને સર્વતોમુખ બની સર્વ દિશાઓમાં વ્યાપ્ત છે.
