Adhyaya 63: Daksha’s Progeny, Kashyapa’s Offspring, and the Rishi-Vamshas that Sustain the Worlds
ete rudrāḥ samākhyātā ekādaśa gaṇeśvarāḥ kaśyapasya pravakṣyāmi patnībhyaḥ putrapautrakam
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages of Naimisharanya)
It situates Linga-centered Shaiva cosmology within creation-order: the Rudras (Shiva’s manifest powers) are established as gaṇa-lords, after which the Purana maps the created lineages—showing how devotion to Pati (Shiva) stands above the proliferating worlds of progeny.
Shiva-tattva is implied through the Rudras as organizing divine agencies: the one Pati is reflected as multiple Rudra-powers presiding over gaṇas, indicating Shiva’s governance of cosmic functions while remaining the transcendent Lord.
No specific puja-vidhi or Pashupata-yoga limb is prescribed in this line; it functions as a narrative transition from Rudra enumeration to genealogy, supporting the Purana’s broader Srishti framework that later grounds Shaiva worship and discipline.
